. . . but fortunately, the light was disappearing so fast, I didn’t get many. Count your blessings.
Months ago, Ella said she wanted to be a wolf, so clearly, we needed Ani to be Little Red Riding Hood. And then it was a quick jump to decide I’d be the grandmother and Bart would play the woodsman.
We thought of this forever ago, but I waited until Wednesday to do anything about making them. Good times, and also trips to Target, Ross, Goodwill, Jo-Ann Fabrics, and Wal-mart all in one (long) morning.
The girls were both completely enamoured with trick-or-treating. We handed Ani her half-full bucket after the first street, and she got this enormous grin on her face. For the rest of the evening, she’d pull one candy after another out, hold it up in the air, and giggle a little. It was ridiculously cute.
Also, last night, I went upstairs to say goodnight to Ella, and when I snuggled her close to me, she sniffed my face and said, “I feel like I’m smelling something . . . like chocolate.”

So cute! We were actually Little Red Riding Hood, Grandma, and the Big Bad Wolf for my daughter's second Halloween when she was a year (and two weeks) old. I'll send you a picture.

One of the cutest Halloween families I've seen! And simple to put together too.

Yes, it was super easy!

Awesome group costume! Last year, my old college roommate dressed as a shark with a gray hoodie similar to Ella's – teeth sewn all around it. Her husband went as a shark-bite victim. 🙂

So cute!! We did little red riding hood last year but it was not nearly as successful as yours. And, jilly has a great nose and can always always smell any treat on my breath.

Oh my goodness my daughter did the same thing to me the other day. When I said I didn't know what she was talking about (ugh, liar) she said "Open your mouth. Go AHHHHHHH" I laughed so hard. Who knew mom's get caught too?

What a beautiful family! You all look great! =]
I went out with my niece who dressed up as Tinkerbell. She is just the cutest thing! The first house we went to, the people let her pick her candy out of the bucket so from that point on when someone would try to give her the candy instead, she would pull the bucket down and get her own – LOL (She's two by the way.) And then she would run away screaming, "tank you!!!!"
