I’m just going to call this my own personal summer book club.
You guys left such GOOD suggestions – I’m so appreciative! I had a great time yesterday afternoon reading through all the suggestions at once, picking a bunch that sounded good, reading reviews on Amazon, and seeing which ones my library had available.
So here are my picks for the summer. I’ll be reviewing each one here at the end of the appropriate month. I’d love it if you read along!
P.S. Moonwalking with Einstein suggested by Suzanne and Heidikins // Ruby Red suggested by Deanna H // The Secret Keeper suggested by Lady Susan, Susanne, and Katie (and my mom who has been encouraging me to try out Kate Morton for over a year)

I'm excited to see what you think of The Secret Keeper! I'm going to look into your other picks, they sound really interesting.

Yay, The Secret Keeper! It slipped my mind how much I enjoyed that when I left my suggestion.
I listened to Moonwalking with Einstein on audio, and it didn't translate well for me. As far as esoteric skill competitions go, Word Freak by Stefan Fatsis was much more enjoyable, I thought. Interested to hear your thoughts!

I love Kate Morton's books, and The Secret Keeper was great. I just finished The Other Typist by Suzanne Rindell and was fascinated by it.

I loved Moonwalking with Einstein. Can't wait to hear what you think of it. And I like Kate Morton's writing as well. Haven't heard of the YA series, will have to check it out.

I just finished reading Moonwalking with Einstein. It is soooo good!!! I hope you enjoy it too!

You picked me!! I shall go around all day with a happy glow and tell questioning coworkers it's because "Janssen picked me."
(Now I *really* hope you like Einstein! Otherwise I'll have to spend a cloudy day telling coworkers it's because "Janssen didn't like Einstein." Sad face.)

Yay! I really hope you like Moonwalking with Einstein (based on your non-fiction history, I think you will). Can't wait to hear what you think. I haven't heard of the other two, but I'm excited to check them both out.

Yay! I just picked up Moonwalking with Einstein and Ruby Red from the library. So excited to get started!

Enjoy the Secret keeper. I added her other books to my list right after reading this one. VERY good. I rank it high like Gillian Flynn's books. Not the same but equally as good.

Dude! I am so excited to find your blog, I'm a huge bookworm and will be checking out all of these suggestions. Thank you 🙂

LOVED The Secret Keeper, and these other two look fabulous! Thanks for the summerreading suggestions, i'm totally a fan of your blog. 🙂 I'd recommend Kate Atkinson's Life After Life, and since I've been on a "decluttering" kick, some of my recent faves have been Zero Waste Home and Minimalist Parenting (along with The Happiness Project, which I think I first saw recommended by you!). I'm also about to read Dan Brown's newest and we'll see how that goes…

I have read all of Kate Morton's books except this one. I hope to also get to it this summer. I also haven't heard of the time-travel YA series. But I have read a recent YA time-travel series by Lisa Mangum. The Hourglass Door. Really enjoyed it, still need to read the last book of the series, but the other 2 were enjoyable.

I would pick all of those just because the covers woo me! I hope they are as good as they look!
