Yellow and Blue Times Three

Apparently, the combination of yellow and blue is one of my favorites, seeing as I've unconsciously worn it three times in the past ten days.

This dress was a recent Old Navy purchase and I love it. I took in the shoulders a little (I bought a medium since it was the smallest size available) and it actually turned out (meaning, it has a home in my closet, rather than in the landfill).

Dress: Old Navy, Sweater, H&M,
Shoes: Fossil, Belt: Gap

I bought this skirt for myself a couple of years ago on my birthday and it's still one of my favorites. The color just makes me happy. Also, my eyes look SO tired in this picture. I have no excuses except that I was speaking in church that day and so I was probably just feeling stressed.

Sweater: H&M, Belt: Gap,
Skirt: Ann Taylor, Shoes: Payless

I was good to my word and finally wore this yellow shirt again. I do not own very much yellow, but this shirt is convincing me that I should own more. (Also, did I mention I bought it for $4? I love Old Navy).

Sweater: Old Navy, Jeans: American Eagle
Bracelet: Gift from Landen, Shoes: Kohls

  8. You are gorgeous. I think I have the same old navy dress in pink and grey... I'm so obsessed that I wore it to church last week KNOWING it would be nearly impossible to nurse in it, but I wore it anyway. It was worth the ridiculously awkward few minutes I spent in the mother's room. ;)

  9. All the outfits are great (nice color combination!), but that first one is just perfect. The shoes really make it!

  11. I love wearing yellow and blue together! Also, I need an H&M that isn't in downtown Boston, and I have been to Old Navy an embarrassing number of times in the last month.

  12. You are beautiful, Janssen. Inside and out. Thanks for making me muffins today and entertaining me with your hide & seek game with Ella. I love that you're as good a mother to our little girl as I always imagined you would be, and though I don't comment on your blog nearly as much as I used to, it's always a treat when you post - an alternate lens from which I get to admire you.

  14. I love yellow and blue too and love that yellow dress. Old Navy currently has a really cute blue and white striped dress but the length is off. I'm five eight and it hits at midcalf and is really unflattering. I'll have to see if I could hem it because otherwise it's cute.
