Bart and I just returned from spending 4 days in Boston. We opted not to mention our absence while we were gone as it seemed foolhardy to publicly announce that our house stood alone and unguarded (as if we have anything of great value there). It is quite difficult to blog when you can't actually write about what you've been spending all day doing.

We had an absolutely lovely time, visiting Salem, Lexington, Concord, and, of course, Boston herself.

I planned to post some fabulous pictures and talk about what a glorious trip it was, but then, at about seven p.m. I fell asleep for some three solid hours, and now it's time to go to bed, seeing as it's back to the gym and work tomorrow. Also, I'm exhausted.

It's so hard being off on vacation and having fun.

  1. That was sneaky...I knew you were going to Boston and I was wondering why you weren't "online" all day on Friday like normal...but I just didn't put two and two together. I hope you guys had a fabulous trip, and now you can debrief us on all the fabulous places to "not miss!"

  2. You went to Boston? I hope you LOVED it. It is my #1 place to visit. I wish we could have joined you.

  3. Oh, Boston! I so want to go. I've never been. I hope you had a great time.

  4. Ooo, I'm excited to hear all about your experience there. I spent a couple of days there last year and loved it.

  5. Have you ever met a person that didn't absolutely LOVE Boston? I know I haven't. Looks like you guys had a blast. I'm jealous!
